David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Last Edited October 29th 2012 at 8:22 PM Hi Heather,
It is always hard to make an accurate estimate when we don't have all the pieces built yet, but conservatively I think we are looking at 4 - 6 weeks of work. So if things go really well it could be early December. If not due to holidays it could be early January. -David |

Marg NeudorfSo I guess the 43K stars I've been working on will disappear :( oh well, I am really looking forward to a new game. I wish I could gift my surplus stars to some of my friends trying to finish eb2 (obviously I've been done EB2 for a while lol).

Emily Doolin AulicinoI have been finished with EB2 since at least July. I play daily to rack up the stars, but I'm fearing that the developers will do the same as they did from EB1 to 2...not allowing us to use any of what we have now. With no word from them, I'm thinkng this is toast! They could take us to other planets and how hard would that be to develop. If they are thinking of an EB3 they've had plenty of time. if we can't use what we've stored, I'm out of here! There should be a way to contact the developers and they should be monitoring these forums rather than using them for us to vent only.

Marc KriguerEmily, you *do* realize that the posts with the tan background -- like the one just 3 above your post -- are from the devs, don't you?

David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Last Edited November 4th 2012 at 5:26 PM Hi Emily,
If it wasn't clear, I am the D in DJArts and we are watching and keeping this thread updated with the progress on the next Egg Breaker game. The forums are generally a place for players to post / chat / help each other on game related topics. If you need developer assistance, or want to just send us a comment there is a way to contact us - from all our games you can open a support ticket on the help me page. We read and respond to all tickets during normal business hours (we also respond to emails send via the contact info on the website but prefer game specific questions be sent in via the games help system). In regards to transferring of items between games, generally speaking it isn't a good idea and doesn't make sense for a number of reasons. The biggest reason being hammers, stars, and multipliers don't map 1 to 1 between stages. When you are on the final stages of EB2 you get over 3000 hammers a day, and you win stars 4 at a time and multipliers 16 at a time. This works because at that point in the game the eggs cost 9 hammers each and take multiple stars to clear a stage... If you were to transfer those into a new game where each egg cost 1 hammer and a stage 1 star you would be able to finish it in just a few days, nothing would be a challenge and it really wouldn't be that much fun. -David |

Diane JamesI have finished ages ago went back through got all collection and maxed out on tokens on all stages then I see there will be no more stages and we wont be able to transfer to the new game what a waste of time. But a good game while it lasted.

Meinhild SelbachThis is all great news. I had to start over on FB in September with a new profil. Besides all that was involved in that, I really enjoy the fact that I could start over again with the DJArts games.
Now this great news! Hopefully I won't miss the Beta... Thanks David and Justin for all you do. |

David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Last Edited November 10th 2012 at 11:25 AM Hi Guys,
Just thought you might be interested to see some screen shots showing the development so far. These are all work in progress, so parts are not finished, and anything could change... http://www.djartsgames.ca/~greytone/dev_screen1.png http://www.djartsgames.ca/~greytone/dev_screen2.png http://www.djartsgames.ca/~greytone/dev_screen3.png http://www.djartsgames.ca/~greytone/dev_screen4.png -David |
