Ben StrijkerRead the first post of the Dev. Natalie. You weren't supposed to keep the % from last year. This year is an whole new event because of a small bug some weren't reset.
To open a ticket ... it was either ingame or somewhere here I kinda forgot. |

Murphy O'BrienI have had many more study tokens than I have at the moment (758), since the event began. Why have I just used a few thousand hammers and gotten no more?

Murphy O'BrienThe game has also reset to show I have made no progress at all with the ribbons. It was completely different yesterday! I know that last year's event doesn't carry over, but I had certainly made progress this year. I think I was almost at the 3rd ribbon. Now I have none and it shows me at Grade 1 (0/1).

Murphy O'BrienNow I have worked my way back to almost the 2nd ribbon, and am at Grade 9 (1/9).
And whilst I did this using more hammers, back in the game there was not a single level quest award! Not one!! Copper Tier Stage 7 paint buckets I think. What's going on?? DJA....we've got gremlins!!! |

Ken ColmanWhy is there a softcap of 750 Graduation tokens in the game? Why is there even a softcap on Graduation tokens period? Trying to slow people down from the top tier is fine, but when each section starts to be 105,110, 115 points per portion and the portion numbers increase with grade (so Grade 9 has 9 portions, Grade 10 has 10), that alone is enough to slow down progress. The 750 Graduation token softcap is an annoyance and unneeded.

Peter Minter (CNE Dev)Hi all,
I have corrected my earlier post the cap for tokens in this event is 750. I see that that has already been noticed here. As for why Ken. The cap is low so that the only challenge in the event is being sure to spend you tokens before you hit the cap. Cheers, Peter |

Jean DavisI just now saw this about the 750 cap...didn't know why I didn't win any tokens since reset, but NOW I do.

Carolann QuinnPeter,
The soft cap is silly since you only have so many hammers per day. It is annoying to have to keep bouncing out of the game to the graduation event and you have to keep an eye on the area tokens, and the stars, and the multipliers. I do not see the point of it unless you are deliberately trying to annoy your players. I am a 400+ day player and it is so annoying (especially since I lost possible tokens on the first day due to the cap being unannounced) that I am sincerely re-evaluating why I play this game. |

Colleen GillanSeriously Peter! Could you please take ALL the restrictions off this game. I really, really enjoy it, but would rather play it my way. I don't like rules and restrictions. No limits on anything would be a good start; then if you could replenish my daily hammers each time that I use them up, that would be great. Oh yeah, please remove all the nothings and make a super monkey break token that will play ALL my hammers or stars in one shot, so that I don't actually have to play the game. Really love the game though!

Lori GregaGee Colleen, reading through all of your comments, I'm wondering if you could be any more obtuse?

Jackie ZhangI think Colleen is being sarcastic. restrictions are fine ,but I do agree the soft cap should be a bit higher like around 2000, it was around 5000 before the adjustment. 750 seems a bit too low.

Colleen GillanLast Edited June 14th 2012 at 1:19 PM Seems to me that you are the one who is obtuse, Lori, as you didn't recognize that for sarcasm.
I don't have a problem with the cap on tokens. It only takes a few moments to use them and you don't actually have to even leave the play page. It also cuts down on the amount of complaining at the end of the event about how long it took to cash in the tokens or the always wonderful "I didn't realize the event was ending and I lost thousands of tokens" complaints. |
