Well this is quite a friendly thread :{

Unfortunately the setup of buying an item with tokens to send via a facebook request requires that they go one at a time. In hindsight we should have set it up to send less but had them cost more. At this point I think changing the number and adjusting everyones progress would be confusing for many players. While I understand some players feel this is a lot of work, I do hope you are enjoying the hammers, stars, and multipliers you are getting in your cards.

ahhh David ... what's better then hindsight? While I agree with a lot of the comments here ... it is a relatively easy accomplishment to finish the event ... it would have been nice to be able to buy stars with accumulated points ... but changing it at this stage is not the answer ... let it be a lesson learned for the next event ... afterall, I daresay EBII wasn't even in the thinktank when EB1 came out ... it's a popular game ... and you have made it better as you've grown ... partly because of player feedback and partly because of your own ingenuity ... this event has taken a little longer ... true ... but it's a great game ... I appreciate your discussion boards ... this is one of the few which actually gets a response from the developers ... great job guys!!! keep up the good work!

@David: While I would understand if this was the first event where you were only able to send one at a time, it isn't. This happened on the last event as well, albeit you had to send far fewer items to reach the goal. Additionally, the last event had other things you could do to increase your progress so it wasn't such a click-fest.

This current event has no other way to increase your progress. Receiving should increase your progress. Sending larger valentine's should increase your progress more than smaller ones. These are simple things that could have been implemented from the start based on the issues from the last event, and yet you guys showed no interest in doing so.

Finally, changing the amounts/adjusting progress may confuse a few people, but most of the players who play daily wouldn't have an issue with it, since these are the people who are complaining about it.

I agree with James, I was hoping with a small chance that the Dev's would implement a change on how these cards are to be sent out, I just don't have the hours and hours to spend sending out cards, this is by far the worst event yet, not only the page load slowly when trying to send but then waiting for both pop ups, of receiving from facebook, then the OK pop up before you can move onto the next, takes each step a 4 or 5 step process.

Well I just completed sending the 400 small Valentines. To the friends I am sending, you will now enjoy the rewards of the awesome Valentines I will be sending now, all those stars, hammers, etc.!! It was alot of clicking but worth it in the end for all the extras.

I'm sorry, I would prefer if you'd adjust it... my mom is playing this game with DIAL UP and it takes her hours just to load and and play her hammers, let along the tedious sending of these valentines. Please consider that not everyone has a super fast connection. At the very least instead of adjusting how the cards are sent or what they count for, adjust it so received hearts count towards the 400 points needed.

At least that way if I send my mom 200 cards she can still finish the event without giving up an entire week of her life. It is a small change that will make the event a lot more enjoyable and a lot less like work to complete.

Would it be too hard to increase the counts on the hearts sent? Leave the 10 for 1, 15 =2. 25 = 4 and 50 = 5 or something like that? I do enjoy the event but it really is annoying to sit here for an hour, after going through 15k hammers and send 100 odd requests out.
Or maybe make the trophy available after 250 or 300?

I believe that you should receive progression per gift received and Larger Gifts sent should also count as more progression.... Ohterwise please keep the good work Thanks

As a general rule, I love the events, but none of my friends play and I'm not adding people I don't know to my facebook just for the game. So I have all of these tokens sitting around and doing nothing. Please devs go back to the way the events were and let me make progress on something other than sending out stuff...
