Lasynda ShichirojiI would suggest part of why the Devs aren't around as much now is because they do have so many more new things going on with games. In the beginning it was just Egg Breaker and Bush Whacker. Then came Vampire Mob City....which I hear failed miserably....then Egg Breaker 2 with them saying they will no longer be adding things for EB1 then Mystic Guardians and now Bush Whackers 2. Oh yeah and don't forget Let's Play which I also here has it's own issues.... So just keep that in mind when you all want to go on about how they are never around to chat anymore like they used to.

Matt Houghton-ThompsonI went searching for a sign of the devs on any of the forums and found a post from Justin here: http://forum.djartsgames.ca/?thread_id=5297&page=2
basically it says they are working on updates for Guardians/BW2 |

Laura Halsted GibsonThank you, Matt. I really wish they could take a few minutes to post on the monkey screen that/if the game is ended! This seems to be a pattern with them; working hard on a game until the next one comes along, then that one end up with all their attention. I'll bet they'll lose more players than me.

Rebecca FurlongLast Edited September 16th 2012 at 7:00 AM Lasynda, we "all want to go on about how [the developers] are never around to chat anymore" because it's a LEGITIMATE complaint that we have! Nobody here is whining incessantly about it or making unreasonable demands. I think that everyone understands that the developers are busy people who can't be on the discussion boards all the time, especially with multiple games on the go, but they must find a way to keep in touch with their players (even if it's not every day like they used to) or they will LOSE their players. Considering that some of us (including myself) have spent money on one or both of the Eggbreaker games, it's just good business practice for them to respond to our concerns when fair questions are asked. If they want us to support them and their games, then they have to support us too!

Wendy BallingerLast Edited September 17th 2012 at 12:02 AM Lasynda Think you forgot a game how about the biggest fail of all Egg Drop. That was after EB 1 and before any of their other games out . I remmeber on the original egg breaker , Justin did say once that they didn't want to do this forever.

Laura Halsted GibsonLasynda, you seem to be saying that the devs have overextended themselves and are spreading themselves too thin. This may well be true. In that case they need to address that (a common problem with better-than expected successes), not just dump the successful games and the players who made them successful. This is a basic business model, and customer service can make or break a business.

Justin Stocks (CNE Dev)Hey all. I'm sorry that we haven't been very chatty recently. We're going to try to be better about that in the future. Let me give you a quick update on the state of Egg Breaker 2.
We're in a bit of a tough spot with Egg Breaker 2 updates right now. The last time I looked at the numbers, there were only a couple hundred players done our current content (out of around 10,000 people who play at least once a week), which means it's not really feasible for us to create a full sized area for just those players. This has been an issue for us for a couple of areas now, and we've been brainstorming ideas for how to overcome it. We'd love to hear any feedback you folks have on what we could do that you would find reasonable - from making everything easier so people can catch up, or re-using art assets from earlier stages, or perhaps having some sort of "uber mode" system where you have to win all the prizes again but they're more rare, or maybe there are some other ideas that you have. I'll try to check back on this thread next week and take note of anything you folks have to say. |

Laura Halsted GibsonJustin, thank you so much for responding to this thread!!
I would be happy to be able to reset a game and start over again. I would love to be able to play EB1 again, as I learned so much playing it, and I would enjoy replaying EB2, also. This would be a minimal change, I would think. We could even save and compare score for each level, etc. I would would even be willing to give up the 2,000 stars I accumulated on EB2! (actually too much of a good thing!) I did not like the "uber mode". It was too difficult and focused on only one thing for a long time, for me to relax and enjoy it. |

Tamara CoulterI would agree with Laura's suggestion of being able to reset and start over. I've slowed my game down but only because I really don't want it to end. I would really enjoy being able to go through the entire game again though.

Heather HammondHmmm....having been addicted to EB1 and now 2 I stopped playing any other games because nothing else was getting done lol! I can understand people being happy to play it again but for me I would like something added to the game, anything is fine by me :)

Heather HammondJust had a thought, don't know about anyone else but I haven't spent my gold in case something was introduced that needed it! If this is the case how about something being introduced that utilises gold ? Just an idea to throw in amongst the much better ones that will follow!

Dawn HoltI would not like the game to be reset, going back to the start would be boring, I would more than likely stop playing. If you could create a new area reuse the art assests from previous stages, even making the prizes harder to win or more levels per area would be okay with me. Would not like to see EB2 end the way EB1 did. As for the uber mode found I lost interest in the game.

Adm SheddenI like the idea of re-using areas, even having the ability of re-doing all areas (without reset and acknowledging that it was your 2nd time around)

Luna ZoraidaThe request most common is more space in the trophy room, I would be happy to go back to each area if a new level is added, that end progress unlocks extra room or maybe even an outside area for the trophy room.

Heather HammondI don't think a new level is an option Luna as statistics are low in completing the Moon. An expansion to the trophy room is a must however!
