The event is the hero's.
The extra missions are fluff and unnecessary.

"Complete the event" = "complete all the objectives of the event (in a given tier)". "Get both crusaders" = "complete both recruitment objectives". The fact that crusaders can be obtained via missions is in itself proof that getting both crusaders does not count as "completing the event", since you can do that OUTSIDE of the event. Want another proof? In order to access tier 2 missions in the event, you need to complete all tier 1 ones. Note: not just recruitment ones, ALL missions. Therefore, it seems like the devs agree with me: completing an event means completing all of its objectives. Let's wee what they wrote about that: "Note: Since the new 'You've Been Naughty' objective was just added this year, players who completed this event last year will need to do it before starting the Tier Two objectives, so be sure to save up 2,500 Tokens before resetting!" That's a direct quote from their blog (http://www.codenameentertainment.com/?page=idle&post_id=434#blog). Please note the use of the term "completed this event" as a synonym for "completed all objectives"... enough for you?

Also, please explain how using logic and reason constitutes being a troll. A troll is not everyone that disagress with you, you know? But considering your clear difficulties in understanding the written language, I shouldn't ask of you to know the meaning of certain words...
