BoldarBlood@kjbds
I believe you could even improve this formation by including Pam. I can't screenshot cause i'm running a free play in another campaign but the changes would be : 1st row - same 2nd row - Detective Groklok RoboTurkey 3rd row - Pam Sarah 4th row - Drizzle And then Pete, Siri and Jack. |

kjbdsGood thought, I already tried that one :) My current formation beats it by ~1.5%. I only have the rare for Pam but have Snowman's epic DPS, so Pam's 150% can't make up for the combo of splitting Groks buff into 2 and loosing 50% DPS (epic + snowman's 10% ability)

TheAngelicVixenThank you Madkins, for understanding where I'm coming from.
My oldest crusaders are Santa and Frosty (which I missed getting a buckle on santa :( ) so I have been able to use drizzle to boost groklok, and khouri as well. |

madkinskjbds, I meant Grok himself was not dealing much damage. I was under the false assumption people were using Grok and Drizzle in the same row.
Here is what I am currently working with: http://imgur.com/VeuJIew |

William CummingsHi there. I thought I would chime in.
Part of the problem I think is that Drizzle's boost to grok is not a multiplier exactly.....it does double groks bonus, but...because of the way boosts work, it just increases that multiplier by 100%...which is the same amount you get from using Artex (At least with my eq). Artex gives 100% more damage to all enemies in front of him and that multiplies seperately with Groks, so they work well together. Drizzle doubles groks bonus....so as long as grok gives at least 100% to each of the champions in front of him, it's equal to using the lion. Thing is...my grok only gives 187% or so divided between 2 crusaders (as I'm usually using pam). IF you could use grok with just 1 crusader in front of him...AND have drizzle in front of that one crusader...that might be better. It means no pam or jim, but you'd get the full grok boost on 1 crusader. The way it is now though, in general your better off using Artex + grok then grok + drizzle, if you don't factor in drizzles 20% and 50% buffs. With them, you can eek out a bit more dps using grok + drizzle in formations that work (like grimms). All that being said, I also agree that the golden epic for Drizzle is underwhemling...especially when it's really her only big selling point over Artex. Artex btw, gets 3% more crit chance....which if you have the talent upgraded, ends up giving quite a bit more damage as well. What should be the solution? Well, I think the main thing that needs improving is the golden epic. Heck even the epic should be improved as most other epics....are well.....more epic at this point. I would make the epic give the bonus that the golden epic currently gives, and upgrade the golden epic to 225% (or 75% bonus from the ability increasing it another 25% from what it is now). That would make her ability do 50% if you have the epic and 75% if you have the golden epic. In combo with her 20% dps all, that makes her add 95% to champions around her...which is comparable (and slightly better) then Artex all by herself (not more dps added, but more versatile since she can be behind in front or even next to the champions she is buffing). Meanwhile you still have the bonus you get in combo with grok...which makes them a great combo to use together. It would only actually add another 25% dps buff, but it would make the golden epic....worthwhile...and make grok + drizzle a better setup then grok + artex in most situations (Which it should be in my opinion). |
