mythagoYou can use multipliers but they have to be less than 100x
I have had fairly decent success with bronze eggs. |

Kaze MinamoJust to confirm, the multi must be absolutely less than 100x, and not including 100x?

mythagoThere is no exact number on the win cap. I have not won with a multiplier larger than 100x on normal eggs. My usual technique is to use a 120x multiplier on bronze eggs (this actually counts as two 60x multipliers as the egg awards two prizes). Once I get the trophy I might play around with various multipliers to narrow down the specifics of the cap.

Lachlan CouttsWell I used almost 3000 hammers and I don't know how many stars, used multis ranging from 2 to 600 on almost every special egg and ended up with only 101 tokens for the day. Also, I cannot ask for help to grow plants or send crates to friends today, so I have some problems !! It seemed to me that most of the tokens came from normal eggs and I only saw a one in a gold egg.

Kaze MinamoThanks for clarifying Edward. I've seen tokens in bronze and silver eggs so far, aside from the normal eggs. Haven't been too lucky with multipliers though

mythagoI have personally won tokens from all the types of eggs (with the obvious exception of the prize egg). I have also successfully used small multipliers on the bronze, silver, gold and platinum eggs. The ruby eggs can also award multiplied tokens.
To clarify on the estimations of the multiplier cap, the total multiplier limit appears to be 100x. In other words: Normal < 100x Bronze < 200x Silver < 50x Gold < 100x Platinum < 300x This is based on my experience from yesterday so I am operating on a limited data set. This may not be completely accurate but my advise is go "go small" The spring event was set up in a similar fashion but the token drop rate appears to be lower. Tokens are fairly are fairly uncommon but I did manage to win around 1,000 tokens yesterday with most of that coming from multiplied wins. |

Heather ZippayIs it just me or does it seem like it isnt taking the whole 4 hours off?

mythagoLast Edited November 16th 2011 at 7:18 AM @Heather: It is not, it is only taking off 2 hours. I think they recycled code from the Spring event which did take off 4 hours and forgot to change the text. This event appears to have been "balanced" to make it a bit harder to win huge number of stars/hammers/multipliers from plants.

Adm SheddenMust be poor luck on my part. I only got around 100 tokens today and none of them were from special eggs (or multipliers)

Lynelle Turley KleinLast Edited November 17th 2011 at 8:43 PM This really bothers me because I am in the volcano area and the multiplier purchased is 120. The limit is lower than the multiplier I can purchase. I personally feel the levels should equal. If the multiplier you can purchase is 120 - then the limit should be set at 120. This really stinks....

mythagoI am in the volcano area and I use the 120 multiplier constantly on bronze eggs. However, this is speculation at best. Your mileage may vary and I would be thrilled to be told by the devs that these caps are incorrectly listed as too low. In reality it can be hard to get them to confirm sometimes.

mythago@Peter: Thank you :) I enjoy trying to figure out the back end of your company's games. Working out the odds and strategies are a fun game in itself.
