9 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 14th 2011 at 9:38 AM Lois Williams A LITTLE NEW TO THESE EVENTS, WONDERING HOW IT ALL WORKS, HAVE UPGRADED TO SEND OUT 5 STOCKINGS PER DAY PLUS HAVE INCREASED TO A MEDIUM STOCKING, HOW HAS THIS HELPED ME, BY SENDING OUT MEDIUM STOCKINGS DO I GET ANYTHING EXTRA, HAVE ONLY RECEIVED SMALL STOCKINGS FROM FRIENDS SO FAR, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SIZE OF THE STOCKINGS BEING SENT, CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN SO I CAN DETERMINE IF UPGRADING TO LARGER IS WORTH IT AND ALSO IS THERE A LINK TO AN EXPLANATION ON ALL THE FEATURES OF THIS EVENT, DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DECORATING IS ABOUT IF THE CHEER IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSE TO COMPLETE TO GET TROPHY, A LITTLE MORE INFO ON THIS EVENT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, NOT EXACTLY SURE IF WHAT I AM DOING IS TO MY ADVANTAGE
41 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 14th 2011 at 9:43 AM Karen Barello Swearingin well i know sending out /more/ stockings is a way to get more cheer. as to the size of the stocking, i'm not sure how much benefit it is to upgrade (other than trading bigger stockings with other people)

Tomorrow when you open the ginormous stocking from monkey - compare the gifts to what you get from a small stocking. From the FAQ: How do I get Christmas Cheer? You receive Christmas Cheer for the following activities: 2 cheer for opening a Christmas stocking 5 cheer for sending a Christmas stocking 10 cheer for each Christmas scene element you have Do I need to collect all the unique Christmas scene elements? Collecting unique elements has no effect on event completion it is just for fun. how do I know what I need for each of the ribbons? 75 Christmas cheer for the participation ribbon 300 Christmas cheer for the Dedication ribbon 600 Christmas cheer for the Completion ribbon 1000 Christmas cheer for the Christmas trophy
7 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 14th 2011 at 4:40 PM Garth Rayan The larger your stocking the more hammers, multipliers and stars you get per stocking. You can increase the size and the ''sent per day'' a total of 8 times each. And for the Cheer lynelle said it already :)

70 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 15th 2011 at 3:50 AM Lynelle Turley Klein I am enjoying the event. :) I love sending stockings to my friends. I just did the last upgrade, that's been fun. AND, we can multiply over 100. That is a HUGE improvement over the last event, which makes me a happy girl. :) Means I can play in the volcano level and still get tokens when I purchase multipliers with my tokens. Thanks Devs! Debbie - what don't you like about it? Perhaps we can help you overcome whatever difficulty you seem to be facing.

9 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 15th 2011 at 8:09 AM Lois Williams ty Lynelle for the explanation above on the Christmas cheer, did not know that we received cheer for the number of elements we have, have just finished buying 1 of all, do the cheer increase if we have multiple of some elements, would like to string the blinking lights all around the tree instead of just the 1 little patch that they cover but don't want to waste credits there if I can spend them more wisely elsewhere

I've upgraded to 6 per day, now if I want to go to 7 it will cost me 700 tokens? And I'd need to be able to send twice that amount out.I'm having a hard enough time just getting enough to send the stockings.If I have to pick and choose who to send gifts to, well, it just makes me sad. :( I'd love to be able to send one to each of my EB buds. I just don't understand the gifting limit or overly high cost of upgrading to one more stocking and if I do get enough, then what? I read it's limited to 8 per day, and no doubt the price would be another 800 tokens. I guess it's just not as much fun as I hoped it would be, for me anyway. Enough of my whining. 3 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 17th 2011 at 5:54 AM Beth Ellis I'm really skeptical that we can get 1,000 cheer. I play everyday and I'm lucky if I get 400 holiday coins day. So I get 3 scene elements and send 3 stockings. I even upgraded the stockings thinking that would help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

And Beth, I got 1k cheer yesterday , even if i keep buying items i dont get hammers stars or nothing. Once you completed event its kinda lame.Nothing else to buy with tokens exept daily stockings.I think that answers your question also sue
