CherkSo I completed this event last year so does that mean I don't have to do it this year? It already says I'm 100% complete or is this an error?

Jennifer Gwynn SoderstromI have the same question. I hope this is an error. This was a fun event last year and I'd like the chance to participate again.

Todd WilsonI was wondering the same thing as I did this last year and now I cannot redo it. Then again, just think of all the stars etc we can buy with all the study tokens! I already have nearly 5K in them and only played half my hammers...:) Still though, would be fun to play again. :)

Natalie StansbyI was halfway through from last year, finished it today and then started spending tokens on stars. But now it's stopped giving me the tokens in-game and I've only got 752 tokens. Is there a max limit you can win overall? I had 4,500 tokens at one point but it was still awarding them to me.

Peter Minter (CNE Dev)Last Edited June 13th 2012 at 8:59 AM Hi Guys,
So there was a problem with the even this morning. people were not properly reset when the event started. I have given back all the tokens spent on studying and set everyone's progress to zero. I am very sorry for the glitch there is a cap of 5000 tokens. **********EDIT 2012/06/12 09:59 AM************************* The Cap is only 750 Study tokens. But you could multiply over that number. Cheers, Peter |

Peter Minter (CNE Dev)Hi Brian,
You were supposed to be reset. I should have returned all tokens spent on studying this morning. Everyone was supposed to start at the first grade again his year but some of the code actually did not roll out correctly. If you feel you spent more tokens than were returned please open a ticket in the help system and I will be more than happy to check it out. You can check your play history everything before 10:11 am that says You Studied for X Study Tokens should have been returned. Cheers, Peter |

Jean DavisI had a PhD from last year, and have spent over 5000 tokens since this morning - mostly buying hammers in the electives.
Definitely sending in a ticket!!! |

Sarah WolcottIs there anyway to see what was returned to us? I'm fairly certain my number before the refresh and after was the same.

Peter Minter (CNE Dev)Hi Brian,
This is a new event for 2012. Progress that carried over from last year was a mistake. Not the kind of mistake that we felt should carry over. You were credited back the number of tokens that you spent to get from where you were to where you got. Not the number of tokens it would take to get back to where you got. This was a refund of the progress in this years event that I took away not the progress from last year that was supposed to be reset. At your level it is likely that you will finish the event with no problem. I apologize for the glitch. @Sarah You were credited 1390 Study tokens. Cheers, Peter |

Giselle Ramos DaMotaLast Edited June 12th 2012 at 10:05 AM I had completed the event last year. Since I no longer needed to (nore was I able to) spend any tokens on studying I spent 10,710 study tokens on hammers, stars and multipliers....I definately would NOT have done that had I known I would be reset. Only tokens spent on studying will be returned....Not Happy.

Peter Minter (CNE Dev)@Giselle,
Tokens for studying were the only one that have been restored. Please open a ticket and we can discuss fair compensation since you did not know that the event would be reset. I think you'll find that we can be very understanding. Cheers, Peter |

Colleen GillanLast Edited June 12th 2012 at 11:05 AM Wow Brian C Brehmer, could you be any more juvenile? Nobody stole anything from you and Peter has explained three times that the event should have been reset. Last year's progress was not suppose to show up on this year's event. All this complaining about a glitch in a game that you don't even pay for is so childish.
EDIT: I guess Brian reread his posts and then decided to delete them. |
