MekkalynLast Edited December 17th 2015 at 3:20 PM I am extremely frustrated with this event.
Why on earth did Codename decide to make this objective so hard?? I cannot go any faster than 1 shot. I do not have any slow points. I have the best possible set up for my enchantments and gear, and again, I 1 shot every single mob throughout the entire run with 0 slow points. So, why exactly can't I get through this stupid objective? I've tried it 2 times already and I always get to 140-145stage when the time runs out. Am I seriously that unlucky with the buff or getting objective drops (to progress to the next stage)?? And the hangups when I get a chest make me actually upset when I find one... If you know how laggy your game is (I play on the Steam platform) and the chest hangups, why didn't you give this objective a little wiggle room? I'm constantly going to be throwing my time and event currency down the drain until I can finish this bug ridden objective, and I am not happy about it. I hate when I am forced to sit here for an hour at a time to babysit and idle game. I hate it even more when I'm watching the event fail for absolutely no good reason, just pure unlucky chance. If you're going to do something that hard it should be worth more than 1 jeweled chest, when in comparison other objectives are 10x easier and less reliant on rng. I wish that you would extend the time by like 5-10 minutes and/or rearrange the order of the objective so that's the last one... so at least I can still get one jeweled chest for free. Make it so time stops the second you get a chest. All of those precious seconds add up, and without the chest hangups I might have been able to barely finish it... but seriously, who on earth thought it was a good idea to cut it so close? I 1 shot everything, I should be able to fly through this objective! I've already bought chests for this event, but since you make it impossible to get event crusader cards after the event is up, I am understandably upset about wasting valuable resource. Please fix. |

MekkalynWell I one shot everything with my Emo Werewolf (34 enchant, purple gear) and 1330 idols, but I cannot do it in the time frame for whatever reason. There is no slow points, ever, just the lag and my unluckyness with getting the stage requirements.

DoomMantia1st: quest item drops are not RNG-dependent. Only chest drops are. Quest items will drop at a fixed interval. In some areas they drop with every slain monster, in others every 2 monsters, in others every 3 monsters, in others every 7 monsters, etc. The number of monsters you have to kill in a certain area is completely fixed for that area and will always be the same in every run. For example, if you have to collect 30 quest items, they will drop with every monster, but if you have to collect 20 items, they will drop every 2 monsters, to make the total of monsters killed 40, and if you have to collect just one item, it will drop after the 25th monster (or something like that).
2nd: I play on Kongregate, so I don't know if this works on Steam, but if you click on a popup window like Change Log or Shop or Open Chest when you're in a boss area, if the boss drops a chest it will be picked up instantly, it will skip the "Claim" window, it will just show a small popup on the top right corner and it will progress automatically to the next area, thus saving many seconds. I finished this objective with 9 minutes to spare: https://i.imgur.com/iJ05bDU.png |

IriniEven with the cookies and milk buff? I only mention it because I almost didn't see it to activate it when it first appeared.

Jason M. BryantDon't wait for the goobers (the stuff you have to pick up) to float across the screen. Wave your mouse over them to pick them up. That alone should allow you to finish the objective with several minutes to spare.

ZeusinatorI just did the objective.
In the beginning I thought "What? 60 Minutes? How should that be possible?" - but after the first milk and cookies it just went really fast and I ended up with ~12 Minutes left on the clock with this formation: http://imgur.com/z8B0m9m I collected every dropped item asap and currently I take advantage of those cookies, because they still drop and that makes the game a lot faster to get some chests. And of course I have to wait to get some Candy Sticks for another Free Play run. As long as you instakill and collect everything as soon as it appears you should be fine with this objective. |

If this is the case, why can't I finish this objective? I've tried it again and every single time I get to 140-145 stage as the timer goes. I seriously sit and stare at the game and watch it one shot -> one kill every single enemy. There is no plausible explanation why I can't do this objective, then. I very rarely get the buff, which is a problem I think. Mekkalyn@Zeusinator, my formation is perfectly fine. I one shot -> one kill every single thing. I don't get the milk and cookies often enough, I guess...because this objective is impossible for me to finish.

MekkalynIn order to get to 150 in 60 minutes, you have to get to stage 50 at 40 minutes to go, 100 at 20, 150 at 0.
At 40 to go I am at stage 46. I cannot go any faster than this. It's really, really frustrating because I can't go faster than one hit killing everything. I don't understand what the problem is and it's really frustrating. |

kjbds"50 at 40 minutes to go, 100 at 20, 150 at 0" That's not accurate. It takes a bit to get up to full strength, so 46 w. 40 min to go is fine.
Also, what do you mean by slow points? I don't know what you're doing wrong, but no one else that I know of is having the same problem. Some possible solutions: 1) Make sure to close and reopen your browser before you do the run, since lag affects your comp but doesn't affect the timer. 2) Play actively - keep your mouse on the R side of the screen. Waiting for the items to hit the crusaders takes too long. Stop "staring at the screen" |

Jason M. BryantMekkalyn, are you using your mouse to pick up all the dropped goobers as soon as the enemies die?

Becca ZiemsMake sure you are also set to low quality image mode. In high quality, the picked up items take a little extra longer to fly up and be counted. This is eliminated with the low quality. Learned this the hard way with the other timed objective.

That IS the case, and the speed buff is not random, either. It drops from the boss every 25 levels. You must have a very slow computer. |

thedudeI just finished it, I had 14:27 left when I got to 150. Here is how I ran it. Low image quality, sound and music off. Turn on auto progress. While I was running, I was constantly moving my mouse on the right side of the screen to collect the items as soon as they dropped. The only time my mouse wan't there was when I was upgrading or moving crusaders, and I tried to save that for "kill x number" or boss levels where there is nothing to pick up.
If you can't get it by doing this, I would advise trying it on a different computer. The fact that your advancement and progression are computed locally means that it takes longer on a slower computer than it does on a fast one. If you don't have a friend with a mid-range desktop or better who will let you use it for an hour, try your local library. |

ZiPSThis objective is a waste of time. I have a machine capable of running world of warcraft raids and league of legends on mid to high detail with no hiccups. I one shot everything as it appears. The only way for me to progress faster is for me to somehow kill things before they spawn. Don't tell me to just 'go down to the local library' as if they have $2500 machines just sitting around.

DoomMantia@ZiPS are you picking up everything with your mouse and opening a popup window on each boss to avoid wasting seconds claiming chests? I don't understand how can this objective be so difficult for some people and so easy for others. I completed it with 9 minutes to spare.

I'm a sad panda. Can't do the obj, probably due to laggy flashplayer on my end. Before anyone asks, Yes, I did manually click everything Yes, I did click on the minimap to advance asap, advancing faster than auto-progress Yes, I did skip ALL chest animations by having an open dialogue window Yes, I did have it in low quality mode yes, I did instakill everything till level 150 (I have 15k idols, I can instakill till level 380 in event freeplay) Still, like with the other timed objective, laggy flashplayer prevents me from finishing the objective in time. I really don't get these timed objectives. In all other objectives there's no way you can "fail" and lose anything. In this objective you can fail the objective and lose the candy canes. And 1300 canes are quite a few. Really disappointed with that. And please, save the "try another computer" suggestions. It's a flash game for crying out loud. Why on earth would they make an objective where some people would need a really fast computer to finish an objective? I feel like i'm being punished, I lost 1300 canes and the jeweled chest, just cause my computer is slightly laggier than other people's. It's an idle flash game, not CoD or whatever, why on earth would my machine have such a big impact on the outcome of an objective. This seriously put me in a bad mood. |

DoomMantiaHmm, I play on a mediocre laptop and I have no problem with these missions. Too bad so many people are having a hard time with this objective.
