here are the 6 achievements:
Got Gratuity?, Get a gratuity level while at max level
Supplementary Levels, Get 25 gratuity levels while at max level
Con-gratuity-ulations!, Get 50 gratuity levels while at max level
Life After Max Level, Get 100 gratuity levels while at max level
Leveling Back Around, Get 200 gratuity levels while at max level
Leveling Laps, Get 400 gratuity levels while at max level

Yep got mine on too. I have wished for something like this for quite awhile. I have been very lucky with timing of releases and new things like this this past year I imagine for all of you long-timers this is a real treat.:)

unsure as the 'bar' does not state the xp aim point, only how much left to it. but at level 420 think it would be the 504000 xp that would be if there were a level 421. that is just over 100k energy worth per gratuity level.

and the 400 achievement is equivalent to 2.25 times as much xp as we have already accumulated to this level 420

not Raymond (lol, I just saw that name difference, never dull huh?)

I noticed it was 50X,XXX the first time I saw a tiny bit of the bar show. It was an odd number. I will leave the fancy ciphering to others.
I'm just happy to have it to do. Nice to have another goal and an energy bonus.

You have to have the VIP Leveller's boon active to get the refill with a full energy bar. It works the same a non max leveling does. Sorry that happened to you.

Gratuity Leveling Update (August 30st, 2018)
- Added Gratuity Leveling for players when they reach the Max Level. Look for the new gold bar filling over the normal purple XP bar!

Details:
- Can now collect XP from whacking while at current Max Level.
- Filling the gold bar will now let you "level up" while at Max Level, which will give you a “Gratuity Level”, which will refill your energy bar.
- You will need room to gain the energy, or have the VIP power Leveller's Boon enabled.

Doc ... I find it interesting, that while you didn't gain any energy (because you were above max level) you also didn't lose any energy. Normally, when you level up and your energy bar is restored, you would lose that extra energy over and above your max energy level. This may be a good thing, as we won't have to worry about it as much if we forget to use our VIP buff.

Edit: Erika explained below "you don't get the energy for a level up without the VIP power, but you don't lose any energy that you have over your max energy."

Raymond, it is not a bug.

For example, if you have 2000/5000 energy in your energy bar, and you gain a level, you only get filled back to your max, 5000.

All extra energy over and above that, from a LEVEL UP, is lost.

That is why the VIP power Leveller's Boon exists.

Flybaby, you don't get the energy for a level up without the VIP power, but you don't lose any energy that you have over your max energy.

As Doc's screenshots show, he had 37005 energy and whacked a bush for 43 energy, taking him down to the proper 36962, and not gaining the bonus for leveling up.
