I can see it there in a cage what do I do next.here is still a blank question mark at the entrance to the skyscraper. HELP before I go mental.

In short, you don't have to go to Pompeii unless you want to visit the creatures you captured. The skyscraper door will have an exclamation mark when another quest is ready, or a question mark if not. You must wait 20 hours between quests. Hope this helps.
