Now you need to look for the half-sphere in all the areas around the world, up to the Spore Castle. You can capture one creature every 20 hours, but you can find the locations of all 20 spheres so you can be ready for the next day.

Does this mean we are supposed to whack something up in a nearby field? I've whacked many times, but to no avail. I hate wasting my energy for nothing if I'm wrong.

If you want to make sure it's the right field, check for the creature standing beside the field. The item will randomly drop while you're whacking, like the lock boxes did in the past.

It isn't clear what we are supposed to do. I did not want to waste energy whacking if the goal was merely to search the area for the other half.
