Hi folks,

As many of you noticed, the game was down for nearly a day between December 19th at 9:30AM and December 20th at 8:30AM. We're very sorry about this! Unfortunately, the main server that ran the game crashed early on the 19th and we were unable to get it functioning again. Instead we had to create a copy of all the data on it and move it over to a new server, which took longer than expected. Luckily we were able to do this without any issues, and the game is now functioning properly. The new server is actually much more powerful than the old one (which was nearly 5 years old), so we're not expecting this issue to occur again.

There may be some slight lag over the next few hours as everyone rushes to log back in, but that appears to already be dissipating. We are planning to release a compensation pack coupon code that will be announced in a news post shortly. We are not planning to extend the Christmas event at this time, as the compensation pack will include energy, candy canes, and other items intended to make up for the lost day of play.

Thank you all for your patience during this downtime. Trust me when I say we hate it just as much as you do!
