Hey, nice to hear that you go to steam,
but there's no reason to play on steam if you can't transfer your idols/items

(the Hermit item would be nice on the real game , tho)

geesh, they are just telling us that they are expanding into other markets.
they are not giving you a way to gain unfair advantage...
all the platforms that they have their games on are totally separate.

The teaser trailer link seems to be broken.

No Linux support :(

Is it being considered for the future or am I stuck on FarceBroke hell forever? :')

If there was a way to transfer my data to Steam I'd do it because I would prefer to play on Steam (especially because it should fix some issues I have when I play on browser, plus then my friends could see me play it). But there is no reason for me to start new over there, I have gotten too far already. Hopefully it brings in more players anyway though.

Shouldn't the Steam and browser versions use the same server for storing our save data? So going to Steam would keep our progress?

@ Geoff: I have no idea about future build plans at the moment.

@ Koala, Horatio, BoJIb:

Even though plenty of overlap exists, Kongregate, ArmorGames, Facebook, and Steam are all very possessive of their respective player bases, and heavily frown upon games attempting to migrate players from one platform to another.

Because of that, we are not currently able to offer a way to transfer your progress from one platform to another.

Hi. I've been playing on kong pretty much since launch, rated 5 stars, spent kreds, been playing religously, followed and liked facebook, signed up to the newsletter months ago and have been receiving regular posts (last was for the carnival event).
I also never got the steam/herm epic note.
I completely fail to see why. It was suggested I would have had to sign up a second time (!?!?!)... but even when i click the signup-link directly from this post, im taken to the page that just tells me i have been already signed up for quite a while.
it's a bit of a mess.

Hi Patrick,

The Hermit Campaign sign-up ran for a brief period of time before our Steam launch. It's back to the normal newsletter sign up now.

Everyone signed up to the newsletter will get the Hermit Hat code, redeemable anywhere, in our next email.

Erika
