Gold Bonus Calculation
114 Posts	Link to post - Posted September 24th 2015 at 12:14 PM Matt Silva I am trying to figure out how gold bonus is calculated. this was shared with me: idols * (achievment + achievment + achievment...) * coins * panda1 * pand2 * panda3 * panda4 * padanItem * NataItem * (1.25^peopleInRowWithKaine) 6400 Idols 191% Achievements 165% Trinkets 25% Panda Skill 1 25% Panda Skill 2 25% Panda Skill 3 50% Panda Skill 4 50% Panda Item 50% Natalie Item 125%^3 for 3 crusaders including kaine Here is where my formula may be off and curious to see where I am going wrong: 64.00 * 1.91 * 1.65 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.50 * 1.50 * 1.95 This is calculated for Box Formation and my current Gold Bonus is 634k%

Curious to see if it works for others. A couple people in chat tried it and it wasn't accurate for them.

For instance, 100% gold bonus doubles (raw mult = 2) your gold dropped. But you are computing as if 100% gold bonus has no effect on gold dropped (in your case 100%=1 raw multiplier, and multiplying by 1 gives no difference). Also in that regard, your conversion from raw multiplier to actual gold bonus might be wrong. 6343.9 will become 6342.9 * 100 % (so gold bonus = (raw_mult -1) * 100 %

I'm not calculating total gold... only the multiplier itself. Its fairly accurate but there seems to be something missing as its only accurate within 1k so I was thinking they may be rounding at some point in the formula. Have you tried it?

If your achive gold % is 186 (instead of 191, so 5% decrease - it's highly likely you miscounted it) then it gives you 673K: http://imgur.com/2UV34fV
